Another Weekend of Boxing

July 13, 2008

It’s Sunday and I’ve been hanging out with the family a few hours outside of Bangkok, having quality time with the kids and resting up. I also watched a few hours of boxing today.

Wladimir Klitschko ground out a boring but decisive win over Tony Thompson, Tomasz Adamek did what he was expected to Gary Gomez, Ulises Solis defeated Nonito Donaire’s brother, Glenn, and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. had a tough go of it with Matt Vanda but persevered. Nothing major here and all in all, it was what I consider a pretty blasé weekend. James Tony and Hasim Rahman step into the ring again on July 16th and all I can say to that is – WHO CARES?

I’m still feeling ill but I’m on medication now and hopefully it will help. Tomorrow I’m going to try and get quite a bit of work done but we’ll see how much energy I have and how much pain I’m in.

I’m not going to write in length tonight but I will post a couple of photos of my wife and kids.

Until later…
